About Us
Safe Skies Aviation is a trusted supplier of aircraft parts, aviation components, and aircraft salvage parts serving mechanics, repair stations, aircraft owners, and aviation businesses across the United States.
Founded by Kurt and Sara Yearout, Safe Skies Aviation began as an aircraft maintenance shop, built on hands-on aviation experience and a commitment to safety. Working directly within aircraft maintenance gave us a deep understanding of the importance of reliable aircraft parts, accurate components, and the need for fast access to aircraft parts.
In 2014, Safe Skies Aviation expanded into aircraft salvage and teardown operations, carefully recovering serviceable components from aircraft and making them available to the general aviation community. Through aircraft dismantling and salvage operations, we help extend the life of valuable aviation components while supporting aircraft maintenance and repair.
As our inventory continued to grow, Safe Skies Aviation expanded operations in 2019 by acquiring a 20,000 square foot aviation parts warehouse. This facility allows us to manage a large inventory of aircraft parts, aviation components, and hard-to-find aircraft hardware used by mechanics and aircraft operators across the country.
While aircraft salvage and aviation parts supply have become a major part of our business, we continue to perform aircraft maintenance and remain closely connected to the needs of the aviation maintenance community. Our background in maintenance ensures we understand the real-world challenges mechanics face when sourcing reliable aircraft parts.
Today, Safe Skies Aviation supplies used aircraft parts, aviation components, and aircraft salvage parts to A&P mechanics, repair stations, aircraft owners, flight schools, and aviation businesses across the United States.
Our mission is simple:
to provide reliable aircraft parts and aviation components while helping keep aircraft flying safely.
